Re: P3 Council MeetingI attended the Sept. 12th City Council meeting where Council voted to spend “up to $258,200,000” on a wastewater plant upgrade. That’s not a typing error, that’s $258.2 million. While Council can now say they held their public hearing, a number of things took place which should be of concern.

More reasons to reroute Bipole IIIThere are two more reasons why the Bipole III hydro transmission hydro towers and lines should not be coming in the Portage La Prairie area and western Manitoba: on Aug. 8, we were combining when a terrible storm came up. There were vehicles stopped along the highway watching the funnel cloud and storm chasers.
