By Leah Cairns and Tara Lambert Collegian Beat A school division in Winnipeg has expressed concern recently on Manitoba’s legal drinking age. It thinks students who are legal are going to be drinking at lunch and coming back to school under the influence. It also fears these students will be providing alcohol to minors.

Two Austin businesses were destroyed in a fire on Sunday. At about 11 a.m., Portage la Prairie RCMP and several area fire departments responded to a business fire in Austin. The fire completely destroyed Kathie's Beauty Salon and an attached suite. [more]
