While Christmas is just over a month a way, there are plenty of people already planning to make sure no one goes hungry on Dec. 25.

Angela Roulette, from Women of Mother Earth Network (WOMEN), is already organizing a free Christmas Day dinner with all the trimmings.

The event will be held at the Portage Friendship Centre this year.

"It is for anybody, young and old," said Roulette.

Roulette is also hoping there may be some musical entertainment for those who attend to enjoy.

Last year, 100 individuals attended the free Christmas dinner.

The Friendship Centre is both providing the venue for the celebration and helping with some of the donations this year.
