Chamber, KAP look forward to working with new cabinet

While the faces may have changed, the intent is the same.

That's the message from business and agriculture groups in the province about the announcement of Premier Greg Selinger's newly appointed cabinet.

Keystone Agricultural Producers (KAP) congratulated Stan Struthers on being appointed as the minister of agriculture, food and rural initiatives.

He takes over from Rosann Wowchuk, who moved to the finance portfolio, the one Selinger looked after before he won the premiership against Steve Ashton, who is now the minister of infrastructure and transportation, on Oct. 17.

"This is a critical time for government and producers to work together and we look forward to meeting with Minister Struthers on many issues, KAP president Ian Wishart said.
