Blaze find win column against Gateway

Posted By Eric MacKenzie

Updated 23 days ago

The Portage Blaze women's soccer team picked up its first victory of the indoor regular season on Tuesday, defeating the Gateway Celtic 2-0 at the University of Manitoba Soccer Complex.

Kathy Stewart and Sarah Mansell scored in the win, while Callie Teetaert earned the clean sheet in goal.

Tuesday's win was a nice way to rebound from a 5-2 loss against Jabs on Friday.

The Blaze now sit at 1-1 for the season.
