Fundraiser volleyball tourney looking for players

Feel like smacking a ball around for a cause? The Get Stuffed mixed volleyball team is still looking for players for the Harvest-Halloween fundraiser volleyball tournament, which it hopes will become an annual event, and this year the cause is the PCU Centre.

According to event organizer Andrea Mitchell, there is a competitive and non-competitive division, with cash prizes up for grabs. The tournament is open to any mixed team, with the only requirement being that no more than three males can be on the court at one time.

"It is going to be a lot of fun!" said Mitchell.

The entry fee is $150 per team, which guarantees three games and six tickets to the evening benefit. The deadline for registration is Oct. 19.

To enter the tournament or get more information, contact Mitchell at 856-6268 or Janelle at 857-4957.
