Terrie Todd introduces her second novel, Maggie’s War.
Canada’s best writers who speak into Canadian culture with a Christian worldview will be honoured and celebrated next month in Ontario.
Portage la Prairie resident and long-time Herald Leader columnist Terrie Todd is in contention to bring home some hardware in a few categories at the annual Word Guild Awards Gala.
Todd has three pieces of work in the running including two books in the Historical category - Maggie's War and Bleak Landing - while her columns Spa Day and A Bone to Pick, featured in the Herald Leader, are nominated in the Column Series category.
Awards will be given out in 47 categories of books, articles, poetry, blogs, and screenplays for work that was published in 2017 reaching both Christian and mainstream audiences.
The awards gala is set for June 15 at the Roma's Hospitality Centre in Mississauga, Ont.
