Potholes forming on the bridge entering Portage la Prairie from the west have been a cause for concern for motorists using the route.
The province is aware of the condition of the overpass and repairs will be undertaken as soon as possible, and additional upkeep will be required this spring until warmer weather arrives and asphalt can be laid.
"With warmer temperatures, potholes have developed in the temporary gravel works that were put in place in November in less than ideal conditions," Manitoba Infrastructure said Wednesday.
It isn't immediately clear when work will begin to address the pothole concern on the overpass.
