The Grade 8 champs were crowned.

The top two teams in the league faced off and it was a battle between two Ecole Arthur Meighen School teams with the EAMS Eagles coming away champions with a 23-9 win over EAMS Black.

“The Eagles had a very balanced attack all year with all players hitting the scoresheet on a consistent basis,” says coach, Dave McLeod. “Ultimately our balanced attack wound up being too much for EAMS Black to handle and I am really impressed with our girls play all season.”

First ranked Ecole Arthur Meighen School Eagles went up against the second-ranked team in EAMS Black. Both teams dominated their respective seasons but never played each other until the championship final. Eagles jumped out to a big 12-2 lead in the first quarter while their relentless defense held Team Black to just 5 points through three quarters.

Eagles managed to hold off the Black attack to capture the banner.
