A three-game win streak is a great way to enter the postseason.

The Westpark Royals varsity boys basketball team notched their third Zone 4A victory in-a-row to close out the regular season Thursday night in Portage la Prairie when they took down the Rosenort Redhawks 75-55.

"The boys played a great defensive game and offensively sunk 15 shots from beyond the arc,” says Westpark coach, Ian Alford. “Luke Foley and Austin Free were bringing down balls around the net and it got our attack started. It was a great way to end off the regular season.”

The Royals were led by Adam Hofer who scored 19 points. Ben Zacharias notched 18 while Owen Alford had 16. The victory secured third place for Westpark with a 4-4 record, they’ll be going up against Dufferin Christian in the semifinals.

The semifinal match is set for Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in Carman.
