After holding the Steinbach Pistons to just one goal in two starts last week, Portage Terrier netminder Lasse Peterson has earned the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week honours.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Dogs after a brief stint in the Western Hockey League, surrendered just one goal while posting a 0.50 Goals Against Average (GAA) to accompany a stellar .983 save percentage while picking up a shutout over the week.

Since joining the Terriers earlier in the month, the Dane has yet to drop a match, posting a perfect 5-0 record along with a 1.35 GAA and .948 save percentage.
