Semifinal up next.

The PCI Saints won in straight sets over the Shaftesbury Titans in the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference's Tier 1 quarterfinal match.

The Saints didn't pull any punches winning 25-13, 25-10, and 25-16 over the much weaker Titans. The Saints are currently ranked second in the province behind Lord Selkirk, and the girls' competition will get a little tougher next week when they take on St. Mary's who are ranked ninth in the province.

The Saints and Flames go in the semifinal Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Trojans host Rams

PCI's varsity Trojans are also on the court next week for playoff action.

The boys finished 6-4 this year and earned a bye through the quarterfinals after finishing second place overall. PCI is set to face Stonewall in the semi's Tuesday in Portage la Prairie. The teams tied with a win a piece over the season with the Rams winning the last match 3-sets-to-1.

The semifinal goes Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Portage.
