One of two woman sought in relation to a May 13 incident in St. Claude involving a stolen vehicle has been arrested.

According to police, on Oct. 27 – thanks to several tips from the public – Portage la Prairie RCMP brought 31-year-old Britney Leigh-Ann Lake of MacGregor into custody on the warrant for her arrest. Dana Marie Doreen Popko, 28, of Portage – co-accused in the incident - remains at large.

As per past reports, on May 13 of this year, Treherne RCMP learned that Lake and Popko were reportedly in possession of a stolen vehicle. Though the vehicle was recovered, both suspects have remained at large since the incident.
