ROK office opens its doors

The official ribbon cutting ceremony unveiling Recreational Opportunities for Kids (ROK) and the Community Connections Outreach Centre new office space was held Friday afternoon outside the Manitoba Housing unit the local organizations will now be calling home.

Based off of a similar outreach program operating in Brandon, Man., the nonprofit organizations struck a deal with Manitoba Housing that will provide a physical building to work out of to not only grow programming but to also better help families in need.
