The winless week saw the Terriers drop a few spots in league rankings.

The Portage Terriers fell from No. 3 to No. 5 in Manitoba Junior Hockey League Week 3 Power Rankings after losing games to Dauphin, Virden and most recently Winkler.

Steinbach jumped from second to No. 1 while OCN (No.2) Virden (No. 3) and Winkler (No. 4) round out the top five.

MJ teams among tops in the nation

Steinbach (No. 11), OCN (No. 13) and Virden (No. 20) were the only MJHL teams to crack the Canadian Junior Hockey League's Top 20 national rankings.

Okotoks (AJHL), Edmundston (MHL), Thief River (SIJHL), Penticton (BCHL) and Battlefords (SJHL) make up the CJHL's top five teams in the nation.
