Reinforcements are on the way.

After dropping four straight, the Portage Terriers have made its first transaction of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League season, acquiring Dylan Tanner from the Superior International Junior Hockey League's English River Miners in exchange for future considerations.

The 5-foot-11, 190 lbs forward is no stranger to the league, as he spent parts of the last three seasons playing for his hometown Wolverines in Waywayseecappo. The 19-year-old tallied 8 goals and 11 assists in 100 career games while also collecting 162 penalty minutes prior to being dealt to the Miners this past summer.
