Terriers win third straight
A third period offensive onslaught was enough to power the Terriers to victory.
Chase Brakel scored a pair of third period goals and forwards Joey Moffatt and James McIsaac added tallies of their own as part of four unanswered goals during a seven minute stretch to comeback and defeat the visiting Steinbach Pistons 5-2 Wednesday night at Stride Place.
\Veteran forward Daniel McKitrick opened the scoring just past the game's half way point before the Pistons struck for two courtesy of Braden Purtill and Tristan Culleton.
Brock Aiken made 25 saves to pick up his third victory of the year while Steinbach's Matthew Thiessen turned away 23 Terrier shots in the losing effort.
The Terriers (3-0-0) move into a first place tie with Neepawa, OCN and Virden – each with six points apiece.
The Dogs welcome the Natives to town Saturday and close the weekend out with a Sunday evening affair with the Oil Caps – somebody's perfect record will take a hit.
