Cindy Crawford with daughter Kaia Gerber on Vogue Paris Cover
Cindy Crawford shared a "special moment" with her daughter Kaia as they both featured on the cover of Vogue Paris.
The supermodel and her teenage daughter Kaia Gerber are pictured together on the April edition of the high fashion magazine.
"Such a special moment sharing a cover with my daughter - April issue of VogueParis!" Cindy writes on Instagram.
While 14-year-old Kaia was just as excited to make her cover debut, in a photo shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino.
"What is life?!!," Kaia adds. "I honestly can't breathe right now. a million thank you's to vogueparis & (photographer) mariotestino!!"
The pretty teenager signed a modelling contract with IMG Models last year, and she has appeared in editorials for Vogue and Teen Vogue. She also featured in a string of designer campaigns for the likes of Alexander Wang.
Kaia and Cindy also graced the pages of Vogue last year as part of a family piece and the teenager has also posed alongside her brother Presley.
As the teen's career is taking off, 50-year-old Cindy, who has been modelling since the 1980s, recently hinted she was ready to retire.
"I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore - and that's OK," she told United Airlines magazine Hemispheres. "I've done it. I've worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can't keep reinventing myself. I shouldn't have to keep proving myself. I don't want to."
However, she subsequently clarified her comments, insisting she constantly jokes with her family about retiring.
"Every year, I tell my kids I'm retiring," she wrote on Instagram. "It's a running joke in our family. And yet every year, opportunities pop up that really excite me. While it's true that I'm eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my businesses, friends and family, I'm not making any final statements. I have loved being part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years and if that time has taught me anything, it's this: never say never."
