Man sent to hospital after Threshermen’s Reunion

Central Plains RCMP was called out to the scene of an accident between a tractor trailer and a 1926 Ford Model T around 4 p.m., July 25.

Police report the semi rear ended the Model T as it was making its way down Highway 1 in the eastbound lane near PTH 242. The 70-year-old driver of the Ford was taken to Winnipeg by STARS Ambulance and is in serious, but stable condition. The Ontario driver of the semi was unhurt. The driver of the Model T had just finished participating in the Threshermen's Reunion parade in Austin.
