Running back Reggie Bush agreed to terms with the San Francisco 49ers, ESPN reported Saturday.
The 30-year-old Bush also visited New Orleans, where he played five seasons after coming out of USC, and New England during the week before deciding on the 49ers.
Bush will join Carlos Hyde and Kendall Hunter in trying to replace Frank Gore, who left the 49ers for Indianapolis.
Bush has two 1,000-yard rushing seasons in the last four years, but injuries limited him to 297 yards on 76 carries with two touchdowns for Detroit last season.
In addition, the 49ers and offensive lineman Erik Pears reached an agreement on a two-year deal, according to reports.
Pears, 32, was with the Buffalo Bills since 2010, starting in 56 of 57 games he played in. He started all 16 games at right guard for the Bills last season after previously seeing action at right tackle.
