Man poses for mugshot wearing T-shirt of his earlier mugshot
Bobby Burt of Pittsfield, Maine, had his mugshot printed onto a T-shirt so he could wear it when he arrived for his jail booking photo on Aug. 12, 2014. Burt uses the image as his Facebook profile shot. (Photo: Facebook/QMI Agency)
It's a mugshot within a mugshot.
A 19-year-old Maine man's mugshot has gone viral because in it, he’s sporting T-shirt featuring a picture of his former mugshot.
On June 14, Robert Burt was arrested for operating under the influence and driving without a license, according to The Smoking Gun.
At the Somerset County Jail, he had his booking photo taken while he wore a white T-shirt.
After taking a plea, he was ordered to spend 48 hours in jail beginning Aug. 8.
When he arrived in the jail he was directed to pose for a new mug shot. The catch? He had a co-worker create a shirt with his previous booking photo on it from June.
Burt wrote on his Facebook that the corrections officers wanted him to hold his slate in a certain way so the shirt could be seen in the photo. "They laughed there asses off haha (sic)," he wrote.
