Breaking down 'The Voice' Season 6 0

To quote the dearly departed folk singer-songwriter Pete Seeger: “There is a season, turn, turn, turn.”

In the case of NBC’s singing contest The Voice (which also airs on CTV), it’s the sixth season and those famous spinning red chairs, which bow Monday and Tuesday nights (Feb. 24 and 25), are turning quite quickly.

So what should we expect from this year’s coaches as Season 4’s Colombian hip-shaker Shakira and R&B star Usher rejoin Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and country music’s Blake Shelton? Pop diva Christina Aguilera injected some flash into the reality show, but she’s taking the season off. Crazy singer Cee-Lo Green also won’t be back, announcing Thursday on Ellen DeGeneres that he has quit the show. “I’m not coming back guys... I’m not coming back at all... I don’t want to wear out my welcome there.”
