Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has been appointed a new brand ambassador for Pantene hair products.
The Brazilian stunner has joined the likes of Eva Mendes, Queen Latifah and Zooey Deschanel as a spokesmodel for the beauty brand and she admits the company's charity campaign, Pantene Beautiful Lengths, which allows consumers to donate their locks to make wigs for cancer patients, was one of the deciding factors in signing on for the job.
She says, "I feel my hair has been through it all – from being styled more than 10 times in one day to enjoying the sun and surf with my children – and Pantene has helped to keep it healthy with every wash, no matter what the day may bring.
"I love that Pantene not only stands for healthy, strong hair, but also encourages women to give back specifically through a program like Pantene Beautiful Lengths."
News of Bundchen's new role emerges days after she made a surprise visit to a cancer-stricken fan's home in Brazil to share make-up and beauty tips.
