Well, I guess winter is here by the look of the snow we got on Saturday. Just too bad the highways had to be closed for awhile due to the slippery conditions.

 

Our MacGregor Santa Clause Parade of Lights will be held on Dec. 6, starting at the old elevator lot and ending at the multiplex.

Welcome to town Bob Butterfield, who is now living in the Lions Manor. It’ll sure be different for you not living on the farm anymore.

Happy belated birthday wishes to Edwin Taylorson who celebrated on Nov. 18. Sorry to forget last week Ed!

Sympathy is extended to the Lloyd family in the recent passing of Nancy Lloyd at the age of 90 years. Nancy was the former Nancy Wallace of the Image Hill district.

Sympathy is also extended to the relatives of the MacIntosh family in the recent passing of Allan at the age of 91. Allan is the last of 11 members of the family who lived at Rossendale.

Kevin and Emily Koldyk and children Alex and Melanie, and also Irene Koldyk have recently returned from a three week trip to Nairobi, Kenya.

Lorraine Bayda of Calgary has been visiting with her sister Arlene Muir in the care home for the past week.

On Nov. 17, a cute baby shower was held at the drop in centre in honour of little Carson Jaeger, infant son of Katelyn Manastyr and Jason Jaeger. The centre was decorated in baby blue decorations and after everyone played various games and Katelyn had opened the gifts, she thanked everyone and a lovely lunch was enjoyed by all.

David Alderson of Winnipeg has been out for a week visiting Ralph and hunting deer. Other visitors on the weekend were Brennen MacDonald and Val Wilson of Brandon, who are congratulated on their engagement. The wedding will take place in August. Visiting also were Stephanie and Janelle Mannor and baby Harper all of Sidney.
