Canad Inns hosted a bake sale and garage sale, Friday morning in support of the Portage Plains United Way that raised over $500.

The sales took place from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the main lobby of the hotel.

Baked goods included cookies, cupcakes, rice crispy squares, and more while the garage sale included ornaments, clothing, and kitchen ware like cups and plates.
