The Portage Terriers continued their hot streak to start the season with a 4-3 road win over the Neepawa Natives on Friday night.

Isaac Jay started off a strong first period for the Dogs as they added another goal in the frame to lead 2-0.

Neepawa bounced back in the second period with two goals overall, but the Terriers were able to bury a goal to lead 3-2 after two.

After being outshot 34-22 during the first two periods, Neepawa fought back to allow just five shots in the third period.  However, one of them resulted in a goal for Portage and Neepawa only managed to score one to give the Dogs a 4-3 win.

Matt Glowa, Kajon McKay and Zach Waldvogel each had two points in the win while Tyler Anton and Dylan Butler each had two assists.
