The Portage Pond Hockey Association is in need of volunteers as they look to avoid having to cancel the February tournament for the second straight year.

The organization lost some of its volunteer base for ubiquitous reasons but look to add new members, including ones on the board, as preparations continue for the 2013 tournament.

Jeff Dubois, chair of the Portage Pond Hockey Association, said that anyone is welcome and they're looking for about 20 to 30 volunteers and four members for the board of directors.
