Portage Service for Seniors held their second annual Boston Booster fundraiser at Boston Pizza on Wednesday, an event that raised more than $1,000 for the organization last year.

Prizes were available for those participating in the rainbow auction and ticket draw throughout the night.

Shelley Caskey, director of Portage Service for Seniors, said that event took a lot of planning but support from the community has helped them along the way.

"The need for fundraising is ongoing.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we've (received) donations from the community which has helped a lot," she said.
