The Portage Friendship Centre hosted a fundraising barbecue at the Portage Co-op, Friday.
The barbecue was fired up from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. where they offered chips, a drink, and a smokey for $5.00.
Staff working the barbecue said although the Centre has been raising funds most of the summer for its summer day camp, funds raised from this barbecue will be going towards the after school program.
