A 14-year-old boy is home safe and sound after going missing from his home in Long Plain on Friday.

The RCMP received the call at around 4:30 p.m.that Jamie Shorting had gone missing.

He was last seen wearing knee length jean shorts, a black track jacket and a black baseball cap with an 'A' on the front. He was also wearing red and black reeboks.

The boy was found in Portage la Prairie on Sunday, according to the RCMP.
