The ongoing CHB Developments Inc. project behind Co-op Marketplace will be seeing the completion of phase one today.

“The paving will be completed today by Maple Leaf Construction,” said Chris Bures, president of CHB Developments Inc. “The curbing was done around a week ago and we’re hoping to open the road to the public in about two weeks.”

The project started three months ago with infrastructure upgrades. With the road just about to be finished, phase two is set to begin.

“We’re excited to start new home development in the area,” said Bures. “We’ll be building 24 lots and it should take three to four years. We’re very excited to be moving onto the next stage.”
