Portage Library gets spray painted overnight 0

The Portage Library was the target of vandals Monday night, as various areas on the east side of the building were spray painted.
Librarian Percy Gregoire-Voskamp said it’s disappointing that individuals would do this to public property.
“It’s disappointing that the building was tagged,” he said. “The east side door and three spots on the east side of the building were tagged.”
The graffiti was covered up between around 10 a.m. said Gregoire-Voskamp.
“It makes things look terrible,” he said. “Even when it’s covered, it’s not the same colour. We wanted to cover it as fast as we could.”
