Angela Wollbaum, assistant director for Portage ARC Industries, said she is excited to take over as executive director when Chris Lundgren retires in September.
“I’ve work here as an assistant for approximately five years and I have been in the office for three years now,” she said. “I learned a lot in my time here and I hope to carry those experiences with me when I take over as executive director.”
Wollbaum said working with Lundgren for three years has allowed her to learn the skills necessary for succeeding him.
“While working in the office, I learned a lot of skills from Chris,” she said. “I think the board recognized that when deciding who’d take over when Chris left.”
Although September is still a month away, Wollbaum’s excitement is growing day by day.
“I’m ready to demonstrate what I’ve learned here,” she said. “I can’t wait to come back in September and get things started.”
