A Portage area mother, Annette Paul, said that the vandalism to her home must stop because she is worried about the safety of her children.
After a small rock was thrown through the front window of her home in central Portage la Prairie - the third time such a thing has happened since the family moved back from Alberta in August of 2011 - she fears for her own safety and the safety of her children.
“I just want the vandalism to stop. I don’t know what to do, who to talk to. I’m really frightened at this point. I feel like I have to sit in the livingroom and keep watch at night, which I shouldn’t have to do,” said Paul. “My kids should feel safe when they’re going to bed but they don’t. And I don’t feel safe for them, I stay up half the night because every little noise makes me jump.”
She encourages anyone that knows anything about the vandalism to please come forward.
