The Tupper Street Family Resource Centre has been busy putting on exciting Family Day's for people in the Portage community.
On Wednesday afternoon, over 60 people registered to take a tour of the Portage Fire Department and RCMP Station.
"Normally we have around 30 people for the family day events." said Sheila Mitchell, program coordinator for the Tupper Street Family Resource Centre. "Our Boston Pizza tour and tie dye shirt day were much lower in attendance than this event."
With a larger than expected turnout, the usual one day event will be spread out throughout two days.
