Portage la Prairie's Herman Prior 55-plus Centre offers a wide range of activities for members and non members alike over the summer.
Executive director Hope Faschoway said one of the outings this summer includes a bus trip to a popular festival in Winnipeg.
"We have our Folklorama trip on August 15," she said. "They have to call and sign up. We have a few spots still available."
Participants will head out at about 4 p.m. and will be back in Portage at about midnight.
The day trips are open to both seniors and non-seniors as well.
The cost to attend is $105 for senior members and $115 for non-members.
So far about 47 people are booked for the event.
