Every school in the Portage School Division will be getting new facelifts over the summer months.

Tom Henry, supervisor of operations for the Portage School Division, said there would be many ongoing projects at Portage area schools leading up to the 2012-2013 school year.

"We have a variety of projects as always happening this summer at our schools."

One of those projects are the CCTV camera installation at Oakville and Crescentville School.

"This project has been ongoing for a number of years at different schools," said Henry.

Of the numerous projects that are going on during the holidays, Henry said that they are categorized into small and large projects.

"I take responsibility of the smaller projects with the budget I am given," he said. "The school makes a request for repairs and I determine if the repairs are necessary, a need at the school and can fit within my budget. If they meet the requirements, we'll do the repairs. If they don't, then they won't be done."
