Aymont's team victorious at Red River Cup 0
Jordan Aymont's Team Winnipeg West picked up a victory at the Red River Cup in Winnipeg on Tuesday, helping the team advance to Friday's tournament final.
Aymont had a tackle and 0.5 sacks, helping the team to a 27-14 win over Winnipeg East on Tuesday.
Winnipeg West (1-1) will face undefeated Saskatchewan in the gold medal game at 7 p.m. Friday night.
Meanwhile, Blaine Park and Blake Park of MacGregor suited up for Team Westman during a 30-0 loss to Saskatchewan on Tuesday.
The loss drops Westman (0-2) into the bronze medal game against Winnipeg East on Friday.
Blake Park had three tackles and a sack in the losing cause, while Blaine, a receiver, was held off the scoresheet as the team completed a single pass.
