The Portage Kennel Club kicked off the first day of its annual dog show, Friday at Canad Inns, which saw over 200 animals registered representing over 76 different breeds.

The three day event which runs until Sunday will see competitors come from across Canada and the United States to show their dogs in both obedience and conformation competitions.
