Crescent Lake could be seeing a new addition this coming Friday, as the Rotary Fountain is almost ready to be installed.
Usually the fountain is up by the beginning of summer, but that is not the case this year.
Parks Manager Dave Green said the delays are due to the low levels of Crescent Lake.
"We're about a foot too low," said Green. "Pumping into Crescent Lake will start up soon, and we're aiming for Friday morning to get to fountain in place."
Green said the work on Meighen Avenue is the reason for the low water levels on the lake.
"They (city crews) are doing water and sewer line work on the street," he said. "We're ready to go when the water is at the proper height."
