The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 65 held a small meeting at their location Tuesday night. On the agenda were various issues such as upgrading the sewer line, whether to increase bar prices and various maintenance projects.

It is well known that the legion is always financially tight like many businesses during the recession; however, even the smallest maintenance issues can be a hindrance to them.

"We discussed replacing the sewer line," said President, Joanne Barnes. "The lines were scoped and they were found to be corroded. We decided to go ahead and get it fixed."

The legion also looked at upgrading their carpeting. While it seems like a small issue, it still costs them valuable dollars.

"We also passed a vote to get new carpeting in our game room," said Barnes. "While every little issue does add up, we have to get it done."
