Province consults with municipalities on new infrastructure programs 0
The Province of Manitoba has started consultations to ensure that municipalities have a say on where funding under the cost-shared infrastructure program will be spent.
Local Government Minister Ron Lemieux and provincial officials will be speaking to delegates attending regional meetings held by the Association of Manitoba Municipalities (AMM).
"The opinion of all municipal leaders is important," said Lemieux in a provincial news release on Monday. "I am looking forward to hearing from municipal leaders across the province so we can shape the next cost-share infrastructure programs to meet municipal priorities."
"We are excited to hear about these recent developments," said AMM executive director, Joe Masi.
