Dozens of children in Portage participated in the Rotary Bike-a-Thon on Saturday as the local organization tried to instill the message of safety when cycling in town.
Kids learned the basic rules of safety before hopping on their bikes to circle Island Park. Later on, there was a BBQ to wrap up the event.
