Saints trample the Cougars 0

Brandon Logan

The PCI Saints roared by the Carman Cougars with a convincing 17-2 win in four innings. The Saints started off strong with a multi-run first inning putting the pressure on the Cougars - a pressure that they could not overcome.

"We talked about getting a better start to games and we certainly did that," said Saints coach, Cam Asham.

The Saints strong hitting continued past the first inning. As any good team would do, the Saints carried that same momentum, and soon took a commanding lead. With strong coaching, it was unlikely that this was a lead that would be surrendered.

"We hit the ball well and had good at bats, what more could you ask?" said Saints coach, Cam Asham.
