The K-5 students enjoyed a day of learning about bike safety. Representatives of MPI came out on Friday to teach the students about proper fit, helmets, the A (air), B ( brakes), and c`s ( chain) of bike maintenance as well as hand signals and the correct way to ride your bike. This was followed up with a group bike ride for a picnic.
What's more on May 9, the K-3 classes at Oakville school spent some time learning about farm safety. Sherrie Upgang taught the students about chemical safety, grain safety and tractor safety.
