Teams from various organizations around town met at the Salvation Army on Friday afternoon to participate in the most successful Office Olympics yet.

Teams participated from the Portage Learning and Literacy Centre, Visions of Independence, Dakota Ojibway Child and Family Services, Portage Co-Op, The Central Regional Health Authority, PCI peer helpers, and PCI SOS peer helpers.

Teams then competed in a variety of different activities including balloon relay, paper toss, mouse pad discus, chariot races on office chairs, and the apple pass.

Miness said over all this year's event was a massive success.

"We had an overwhelming response this year. Typically we have about six to eight teams, this year we had 11 teams. We're looking forward to next year and we're hoping that the champions come back and defend their honour," said Miness.
