Trojans split doubleheader with Garden Valley

The PCI Trojans baseball team came back with a win and a loss on Thursday after a doubleheader with Garden Valley Collegiate.

The Trojans won the first game 3-2, but were hammered 8-0 in the second game.

Jay Dewis, head coach of the PCI Trojans baseball team, said that the team played well in the first game but the wheels came off in the second inning of the second game.

Multiple errors cost the team a couple of runs and Dewis said the team was shaken because of it.

Nevertheless, with six games coming up next week, the Trojans' goal is to win four out of their next six going forward.

The team will have their opportunity to begin that feat on Monday when they face Morris Collegiate at Republic Park.
