Saints soccer team fall 5-0 to Fort Richmond 0

By Jordan Maxwell, Portage Daily Graphic

The PCI Saints were riding high from their win against Crocus Plains last Saturday but reached a new low in Thursday's 5-0 loss to Fort Richmond.

Tom Henry, head coach of the PCI Saints soccer team, said that the team were getting beat to every loose ball and couldn't take advantage of the wind in the first half to give them that extra push.

Henry added that Katie Hannah tried her best in net to keep it close but the Saints just couldn't summon any threat on offence to make an impact on the game.

The Saints will look to redeem themselves this weekend when they travel to Crocus Plains for a tournament.
