Twist 12th at tourney 0
The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour opened its season over the weekend at The Meadows in East St. Paul.
Local golfer Brayden Twist was the lone local competing at the event, finishing 12th out of 20 in the boys 17-19 division.
Twist, 17, posted an 81 in both rounds for a score of 162, 19 behind the pace of 18-year-old champion Bret Thompson of Winnipeg's Southwood Golf and Country Club.
The next tour event will be held June 9 and 10 at Winkler Centennial Golf Club.
