The Portage Collegiate Institute Saints soccer team was able to chalk up a win Saturday, sneaking past the Crocus Plains Plainsmen of Brandon 3-1 at Republic of Manitobah Park.

Jade Barrault put home a pair of goals, while Crystal Nichol had the other.

The short-benched Saints got a solid effort from Katie Hannah in net to pick up their first win of the spring.

PCI will wrap up its four-game West Winnipeg Athletic Conference season Thursday against the host Fort Richmond Centurions.
